Arc Seating

Fabricated at Srishti School of Art and Design

(2019)

This lightweight modular furniture proposal for a Bangalore bus stop transforms static transit stations into dynamic public spaces.

Developed after observing how commuters navigate fleeting social encounters and personal boundaries, the flexible layout lets users seamlessly shift the furniture from a group configuration to an individual bubble. This grants commuters complete autonomy over how they orient themselves during their brief wait.
