This is a story of two 17 year old girls, Kalyani and Mala, who are childhood friends. Mala is recently widowed and after the tragedy they run away to the forest together with her kids to escape from being forced to remarry. This comic shows their journey as they make a home in the wilderness despite all the dangers, experiencing more freedom out there than they ever did in their village.

We follow them on their adventures against bandits and monsters, and watch them goof around with their kids, as they gradually build a deep inseparable bond as a family.
